22nd January 2020 – Drought Troubles at Tanby Garden Centre
The drought has taken its toll on our small locally run business. With so little rainfall resulting in very low dam levels we had to stop irrigating the turf farm at Christmas time. We are now relying on our nursery and garden centre sales for an income. We are cutting back our operating hours and our staff to ensure we can continue to trade through until we receive significant rain, which we are hopeful isn’t too far away. We are asking for your understanding and support during this time. We will continue to have a great range of plants, pots and quirky giftware as well as all your sand, soils, stones and mulches.
Come and see us during our new operating hours of 8:30am to 2:00pm 7 days a week starting 1st Feb. The coffee hub will be open on the weekends.
We are also excited to announce that we will be having a Drought Breaking Plant Sale this coming Australia Day weekend. (Friday to Sunday, normal hours). This is a great opportunity to get planting!
